COVID-19 Precautions
As the client you need to not only protect yourself but also limit the spread, especially since the majority won't even know they have it.
Before, during and after your session please follow these steps:
  • Please wear a mask when entering and exiting the building. Masks are required! If you don't have one, let me know. Please keep it on until you are in the massage room.
  • Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.
  • When you come inside, please only touch what is absolutely necessary, like the door handle. Please even refrain from using the staircase banister if you do not need it's assistance.
  • Please immediately wash your hands in the sink provided in the upstairs waiting area, signage will make it clear what soap and hand towels to use.
  • A basket for your belongings, which is disinfected, will be available so that you aren't touching your items after washing your hands.

As the massage therapist I am ensuring that:
  • Everything in the massage room is disinfected between each session and extra time has been allotted to do so. I will be washing my hands while you are getting getting onto the massage table.
  • I will be wearing a mask while I am working on your neck and while near your face.
  • All laundry is disinfected and washed according to health regulations for disease transmission control.
  • My personal life is extremely self isolated. I wear masks everywhere when I am not at home and have (probably overkill) hand sanitation before during and after shopping anywhere.
Please cancel your session and err on the side of caution for everyone's sake if you feel you might be infected. No matter how we personally feel about the virus, it would be foolish for any of us to consider that its nothing to worry about- we just don't know the long term effects from this. It may be nothing, but I don't think any of us should be careless and risk affecting others, especially to get a massage. Massage can be valuable in helping to reduce stress but not at the risk of making others sick!
